Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Khalil al-Daqran on October 7 rejected Israeli military claims that fighters and weapons were present inside Gaza hospitals, calling the allegations false and misleading. He warned that such claims could be used to justify further attacks on the territory’s remaining medical facilities.
Speaking at a press conference, al-Daqran said hospitals that remain operational are treating patients while also sheltering medical and humanitarian workers.
