Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinians and Torch Vehicle in West Bank
A group of Israeli settlers reportedly attacked Palestinian residents north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, setting a Palestinian vehicle on fire and attempting to take a child, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa.
A Palestinian man said settlers approached his car, set it alight and then attacked him. Two homes were also reportedly entered, where women and children were assaulted. Residents intervened and prevented the reported attempt to take a child away.
In a separate development, Israeli troops conducted raids across villages and towns in the western Jenin area. Residents were detained and some shopkeepers were ordered to close their businesses.
The incidents come amid continued violence and tensions across the occupied West Bank.
