Palestinian Child Killed in Israeli Drone Strike While Collecting Water in Gaza
A Palestinian child was killed and another injured after an Israeli drone reportedly dropped an explosive device on them while they were collecting water in eastern Gaza City.
According to Gaza’s civil defence agency, the children were filling water containers behind Al-Omari Mosque when an Israeli quadcopter drone released the explosive. The strike killed one child at the scene and wounded the other.
The incident comes as civilians in Gaza continue to face severe shortages of clean water and other essential supplies amid the ongoing conflict.
