Two more Palestinians were killed in Gaza over the past 24 hours, while 25 others were injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The latest casualties have raised the reported Palestinian death toll since October 8, 2023, to 73,786, with 174,771 people injured.
The ministry said hospitals received the bodies of two Palestinians and treated 25 wounded people, but did not provide details about the circumstances of the latest deaths and injuries.
The figures come despite a ceasefire that has been in place since October 10, 2025. Gaza’s Health Ministry says Israeli violations of the agreement have killed 1,372 Palestinians and injured 4,659 since October 11, 2025.
The ongoing war has also devastated Gaza’s civilian infrastructure, with around 90 percent reportedly destroyed. The UN has estimated that rebuilding the enclave could cost about $70 billion.
