Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar Condemn Israeli Attacks in Gaza, Urge Ceasefire Compliance
Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar have strongly condemned recent Israeli attacks in Gaza that killed civilians, including women and children, warning that the escalation could undermine ongoing efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement.
In a joint statement, the three countries, which are acting as mediators, expressed deep concern over continued Israeli attacks and said the escalation was threatening diplomatic efforts at a critical stage.
The mediators said negotiations were continuing under the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, including recent meetings between the Board of Peace and Israeli officials. They urged Israel to fulfil its obligations under the ceasefire and avoid actions that could further escalate tensions.
Türkiye, Egypt and Qatar also called on the international community and the Board of Peace, led by US President Donald Trump and endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803, to take effective steps to ensure compliance with the ceasefire and prevent further escalation.
