On April 21, 2026 Two Palestinian teenagers remain in critical condition after being shot in the head by Israeli forces in separate incidents in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

Hala, 18, a bride-to-be from Gaza, and Mohammad, 13, from the West Bank, were both admitted to intensive care following the shootings, with medical teams fighting to save their lives. Their cases highlight ongoing violence affecting minors amid the broader Israel-Palestine conflict.

The incidents come amid a surge in regional tensions and continued reports of violence involving Israeli forces and Palestinian civilians. In a separate case on April 21, an Israeli reservist killed two Palestinians, including a 14-year-old, in the West Bank, according to the Associated Press.

Human rights groups and local officials have repeatedly raised concerns over the impact of military operations on civilians, particularly children, as clashes persist across Gaza and the West Bank. No immediate comment was available from Israeli authorities regarding the specific shootings of Hala and Mohammad.
