Netanyahu Flight to US Again Crosses ICC Member States’ Airspace
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s aircraft crossed the airspace of several European countries that are members of the International Criminal Court (ICC) while traveling to the United States on Monday.
According to flight tracking data, the Israeli government aircraft passed through Greece, Italy and France, all ICC member states, during its route to Washington.
The flight path was similar to routes used during Netanyahu’s previous US visits in December 2025 and February 2026. During an earlier trip to New York, the aircraft crossed Greek and Italian airspace but avoided France.
The ICC has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity linked to Israel’s military actions in Gaza.
The latest flight has renewed discussions over the enforcement of ICC decisions and the obligations of member states.
