Mark Ruffalo Attacks Netanyahu After ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan's Dismissal

American actor Mark Ruffalo strongly criticised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the latter welcomed the dismissal of International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan.

In a social media post, Ruffalo accused Netanyahu of believing that the prosecutor's removal would not erase allegations of war crimes or prevent future accountability. He used strong language to condemn the Israeli leader and said history would judge his actions.

The ICC's member states voted to remove Karim Khan following allegations of sexual misconduct. A total of 82 of the court's 125 member states supported his dismissal. Khan has denied the allegations, while his legal team argued that the process was unfair and lacked sufficient evidence.

The dismissal came as the United States launched a diplomatic campaign against the ICC, arguing that the court threatens US sovereignty.
