Family Killed in Northern Gaza
An Israeli strike on a home in the Beit Lahia Project area of northern Gaza killed four members of the Ahmad family, including two children, Palestinian hospital and security sources said. The children were identified as being 12 and 8 years old.
Israel Says It Targeted Military Operative
The Israeli military said it struck a military structure where it alleged militants had been operating. It identified Muamen Abd al-Rahman Ahmad as a military operative and said he had taken part in fighting against Israeli forces in violation of the ceasefire.
Further Attacks Reported
Palestinian security sources said Israeli aircraft also struck areas of Jabalia, while forces reportedly fired near tents sheltering displaced Palestinians and ambulances. The reports come despite a US-backed ceasefire that began in October 2025. Gaza health officials say more than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire was announced.
