Gaza Under Attack: Israeli Strikes Kill 100 Palestinians and Injure More Than 400 Since August 12

At least 100 Palestinians have been killed and more than 400 injured in Israeli air strikes across Gaza since August 12, according to Ramiz Alakbarov, the UN acting Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process.

Addressing the UN Security Council, Alakbarov said conditions in Gaza remain extremely difficult despite a ceasefire that has been in place for nearly a year.

The latest casualties highlight the continued violence and humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, as tensions also rise in the occupied West Bank.
