A Russian drone strike hit a civilian bus in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, injuring more than 10 people, according to Ukrainian officials.

Local authorities said the attack occurred during the daytime while the bus was carrying passengers through the city. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene, where several victims were treated for injuries and taken to nearby hospitals.

Officials reported that at least 10 people were wounded, including a teenager, after the drone struck the vehicle. Images from the scene showed damage to the bus and shattered windows. Kherson, located near the front lines of the war, has frequently been targeted by drone and artillery attacks since Ukrainian forces retook the city in late 2022.

Ukrainian authorities condemned the strike and accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, while Russia has not immediately commented on the incident. The attack comes as drone warfare continues to play a major role in the ongoing conflict.
