Israel and UAE Officials Reportedly Hold Secret Talks to Coordinate Iran Strategy

Israeli and Emirati officials have reportedly held confidential meetings to discuss Iran and coordinate possible diplomatic responses, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

The meetings were said to have taken place in an undisclosed third country amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran. Emirati officials reportedly expressed concerns over a US-Iran agreement, arguing that it could provide Iran with economic relief without major concessions.

The two sides discussed potential cooperation in international forums but agreed that any action would require coordination with the US administration.

The report also said the UAE has adopted a tougher stance toward Iran compared with some other Gulf states, with shared security interests bringing Abu Dhabi and Israel closer since their normalization of relations in 2020.
