Iran Rebuilds Missile Sites, Bridges and Military Facilities After Months of Airstrikes

Iran is rapidly restoring military infrastructure damaged during months of airstrikes, including underground missile bases, bridges, production facilities and ports, according to a Wall Street Journal report citing Israeli and Western officials, as well as satellite imagery.

Recent satellite images reportedly show repaired tunnel entrances, rebuilt access roads and reconstruction work at missile bases in western Iran. A bridge damaged in Israeli strikes was also restored within days, while an IRGC-linked shipyard in Bandar Anzali has resumed partial operations.

Israeli officials said the speed of reconstruction highlights Iran’s ability to recover from sustained attacks. Some privately expressed concern that many strikes only blocked entrances to underground missile facilities rather than destroying the sites, allowing Iran to retrieve stored weapons and resume operations.

Analysts also said Iran retains significant missile production capabilities and may have underground stockpiles that could support the assembly of hundreds of missiles and drones while more advanced manufacturing facilities are rebuilt.
