Iran Warns of Major Changes if US Launches Fresh Attacks
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned that Tehran’s response would change significantly if the United States launches another attack.
An IRGC spokesperson said Iran would introduce new weapons and capabilities and could target locations that were not attacked during previous rounds of fighting. He said Iran was prepared for a prolonged confrontation.
The warning follows a statement from Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters claiming it had received information that the US was preparing to resume military operations. That claim has not been independently verified.
The latest statements come as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz. Any renewed military confrontation could also create wider risks for regional security and international shipping.
Iran’s warnings indicate that Tehran is preparing for a possible escalation while the situation between the two countries remains uncertain.
