Houthi Leader Says Group Coordinating With Regional Resistance Over Lebanon and Palestine
The leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, says the group is coordinating with what he described as “resistance movements” regarding developments in Lebanon and Palestine.
In a statement on Thursday, he said the Houthis remain committed to what he called a religious and political stance against Israel and its allies, accusing Israel of aggression in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Yemen.
Al-Houthi also referred to what he described as a broader regional plan to reshape the Middle East, which he called the “Greater Israel” project.
He warned regional states and groups against what he described as US efforts to draw them into a wider conflict in support of Israel, saying Washington is trying to expand the scope of the war in the region.
The remarks come amid ongoing tensions across the Middle East, including conflicts involving Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen.
