Gaza Death Toll Nears 73,350 as Israeli Attacks Continue Despite Ceasefire
Israeli forces have killed three more Palestinians in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll since October 2023 to 73,329, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The ministry said hospitals received three bodies, including two Palestinians killed by Israeli fire and another who died from earlier injuries. Twelve additional people were injured, bringing the total number of wounded to 174,009.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that began in October 2025, Israeli attacks in Gaza have continued, resulting in more than 1,200 additional deaths and thousands of injuries, according to Palestinian health officials.
The conflict has caused massive destruction across Gaza, damaging most civilian infrastructure and creating a severe humanitarian crisis. The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
