Israeli Minister Says Israel Not Bound by US-Iran Agreement
Israeli Science Minister Gila Gamliel has said that Israel does not consider itself bound by the US-Iran agreement and will continue its military operations.
Speaking to Israeli media, she stated that Israel is not a party to the deal and will continue its campaign until its goal of disarming Hezbollah is achieved.
Gamliel also indicated that Israel plans to maintain its military presence in parts of southern Lebanon, saying forces are deeply positioned in areas up to the Litani River and Beaufort Castle. She added that residents will not be allowed to return to those areas until Hezbollah is disarmed.
