Fresh Israeli Strikes Kill Eight in Gaza as Ceasefire Violations Continue
Fresh Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least eight Palestinians, including a woman, her young daughter and a child, while dozens more were injured, according to medical sources.
In Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis, an airstrike hit tents sheltering displaced families, killing a woman and her daughter and causing extensive damage. Earlier, a drone strike on another tent in the same area killed two people and wounded 27 others.
Elsewhere, one person was killed near Bani Suheila after Israeli forces reportedly opened fire on civilians, while a drone strike in Deir al-Balah killed three people, including a child.
Medical sources also reported injuries following artillery shelling in Beit Lahia.
Residents said Israeli military vehicles advanced into the Nuseirat refugee camp, carried out shelling, and moved concrete barriers marking the so-called "Yellow Line," indicating an expansion of the Israeli-controlled zone despite the ceasefire.
According to Gaza health authorities, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in reported ceasefire violations since the truce began in October 2025.
