US Uses Nearly All Long-Range Precision Missiles During Iran War, Sources Say

The US military has used almost all of its stockpile of key long-range precision missiles during its months-long war with Iran, according to sources familiar with the data.

The weapons affected include Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM), which allow accurate strikes from long distances. The depletion has raised concerns about US readiness for potential future conflicts involving major powers such as Russia or China.

Officials said the reduction in missile supplies could limit options for future operations, while analysts warned that rebuilding stockpiles may take time. The Pentagon and White House said the US still maintains a powerful military arsenal and that weapons production is increasing.

Other defensive systems, including Patriot and THAAD missile interceptors, have also reportedly seen significant reductions during the conflict. The US is now working to expand production and restore weapons reserves.
