The United States is set to issue limited-edition “America250” passports featuring an image of President Donald Trump, as part of celebrations marking the country’s 250th anniversary of independence in 2026.
According to a report published on April 28, 2026, the special passports will include Trump’s photograph on the inside cover, alongside patriotic imagery such as the Declaration of Independence and artwork depicting the founding fathers.
The passports are expected to maintain the same security standards as regular US travel documents, while serving as commemorative items tied to the anniversary celebrations.
The initiative forms part of a broader “America250” programme, which includes national events and symbolic projects highlighting the milestone. The proposal has drawn attention as part of wider efforts to incorporate Trump’s image into official and commemorative materials during the anniversary period.
