Trump Threatens to Bomb Iranian Bridges and Power Plants After Ship Attacks
US President Donald Trump has issued a warning that the United States will respond directly to any Iranian attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that if Iran targets a vessel using missiles, rockets, drones or any other weapon, the US would strike one Iranian bridge or power plant in response. He added that the policy would also apply to infrastructure located near the capital, Tehran.
The statement marks another escalation in the ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran, with concerns growing over the security of one of the world's most important maritime trade routes.
