Trump Took Secret Flight From Türkiye Amid Reported Iranian Threat

US President Donald Trump secretly switched aircraft in Türkiye last month after an alleged Iranian assassination threat, using Air Force One as a decoy, according to US media reports cited by AFP.

Trump had publicly indicated that he would leave the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8 aboard an older Air Force One. However, reports by The Washington Post and The New York Times said he was instead moved discreetly inside a catering container and transported to a smaller C-32A military aircraft.

The C-32A then flew Trump to the United Kingdom, while the unexpected transfer reportedly remained unknown to the press pool and some White House staff.
