Reported Abu Dhabi visit
Israeli media reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an unannounced trip to Abu Dhabi and met United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The reports said Netanyahu travelled by private plane and spent the day in the Emirati capital.
The visit was not announced by Netanyahu’s office, and the UAE had not immediately commented. The reports linked the visit to claims that the Emirati president had warned Netanyahu before the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack.
