Palestinian Child Among Four Killed in Israeli Strike on Gaza Vehicle
An 8-year-old Palestinian child has died after an Israeli drone strike targeted a civilian vehicle in Gaza City, bringing the death toll from the attack to four.
The child, Fadi al-Deiri, died from injuries sustained in the strike on Tuesday evening in the Sabra neighbourhood, according to medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital. Three Palestinians, including another child, were killed earlier in the attack, while several others were injured.
Further Israeli military actions were reported across Gaza, including gunfire near the Gaza port area, artillery shelling around the Bureij refugee camp, and firing toward displacement tents in Al-Mawasi near Rafah.
The incidents occurred despite a ceasefire agreement that has been in place since October 2025. Palestinian health authorities say hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured since the ceasefire began.
Since the start of the war in October 2023, Gaza health officials report more than 73,000 Palestinians killed and widespread destruction across the territory.
