At least five police officers and a 13-year-old boy were killed after an Israeli strike hit a police position in northern Gaza, according to Palestinian officials. Several other people were reportedly wounded in the attack near the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza City.

Gaza’s General Directorate of Police said the officers were stationed at a local police post when the strike occurred. The Israeli military had not released an official comment on the incident at the time of reporting.

The attack came amid continued violence across Gaza despite ongoing international calls for restraint and efforts to maintain a ceasefire. Local health officials and medics have reported additional casualties from separate strikes in recent days, including civilians and children.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains severe, with repeated bombardments damaging residential areas and public infrastructure. Aid organisations have continued to warn about worsening conditions for civilians as fighting and air raids continue across the territory.
