Israeli Strike Hits Medical Warehouses Near Al-Aqsa Hospital Amid Gaza Health Crisis
An Israeli airstrike hit medical warehouses near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, destroying critical supplies and damaging nearby shelters for displaced Palestinians.
Witnesses said two of the four warehouses were completely destroyed, with medicines, intravenous fluids and supplies used for intensive care and dialysis lost in the attack. Dozens of tents housing displaced families were also damaged or destroyed.
Gaza health officials condemned the strike, warning that the loss of medical supplies could threaten patients’ lives amid ongoing shortages. Hospital officials said the attack caused damage to nearby buildings and further weakened Gaza’s healthcare system.
Displaced residents said they received evacuation warnings only minutes before the strike and were forced to flee with their children. Many said they have repeatedly lost their shelters since the start of the war.
