Israeli Settler Attacks Target Mosques, Homes and Businesses Across the West Bank

A series of Israeli settler attacks swept across the occupied West Bank, targeting Palestinian communities in Nablus, Tulkarm, Ramallah, Hebron, Salfit, Qalqilya, Jericho and Jerusalem, according to Palestinian officials.

In Qusra, south of Nablus, settlers allegedly set fire to the al-Rahma Mosque, causing major damage and spray-painting racist slogans on its walls. Another mosque in the village of Kur, near Tulkarm, was also reportedly set on fire with similar graffiti left behind.

Settlers also attacked homes, burned vehicles, vandalized property and reportedly fired live ammunition in several communities. Near Ramallah, a stone quarry was attacked, with 10 excavators, bulldozers and trucks set ablaze, causing an estimated $666,000 in damage. Three security guards were reportedly injured during the assault.

Additional incidents included attacks on an ambulance, stone-throwing at Palestinian vehicles, road blockades and assaults on a Bedouin community east of Jerusalem, where a house and vehicle were set on fire.

The Palestinian Higher Fatwa Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attacks, describing them as part of a systematic campaign targeting Palestinians and places of worship. They urged the international community to take concrete measures to stop settler violence and hold those responsible accountable.

Palestinian officials said thousands of attacks by Israeli forces and settlers have been recorded across the West Bank in 2026, amid continued tensions in the occupied territory.
