Israeli Media Claims Secret Security Annex Details Lebanon-Israel Withdrawal Terms
Israeli Channel 12 has claimed it obtained details of a so-called secret security annex linked to the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
According to the report, the annex—said to remain undisclosed at Beirut’s request—outlines that Israel’s military withdrawal would not follow a fixed timetable. Instead, it would depend on conditions on the ground and ongoing security assessments, with no automatic pullout guaranteed.
The channel also claimed the agreement allows the Israeli military to carry out operations within a defined “Yellow Line” area in response to perceived threats.
It further stated that deployment of the Lebanese army would remain limited in the near term and would require coordination, with only two pilot zones currently designated and expansion expected to take several weeks.
The report also cited Israeli security concerns that Iran could attempt to influence the agreement through diplomatic pressure on the United States, potentially affecting Israeli withdrawal decisions.
Neither Lebanese nor Israeli authorities have officially confirmed the details of the alleged annex.
