Israeli Attacks Across Gaza Kill 14, Including Mourners at Funeral Procession
At least 14 Palestinians were killed in multiple Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, including eight people who died in a drone strike on a funeral procession in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
According to local health officials, the strike targeted mourners gathered outside the Ahmad Yassin Mosque before the funeral of a Palestinian who had been killed earlier the same day. At least 20 other people were injured and taken to Al-Awda Hospital for treatment.
Witnesses said the drone struck as the funeral procession was about to begin in the Al-Balata market area. The latest attack comes despite the ceasefire with Hamas, which local officials say continues to be violated through frequent Israeli military operations across Gaza.
