Iran Says Framework of Hormuz Understanding With Oman Has Been Finalised
Iran says it has reached a general framework of understanding with Oman over arrangements concerning the Strait of Hormuz, according to a spokesperson for Iran’s parliament.
The official said the framework has been agreed and that the final text and detailed terms will be announced soon.
However, he stressed that the agreement still requires approval at higher levels before it can be formally finalised.
The development comes as tensions surrounding the strategically important Strait of Hormuz remain high, with regional countries closely monitoring efforts to restore stability and secure maritime traffic.
