Iran Claims New Missile and Drone Advances Made During 40-Day War With Israel and US

Iran says it developed and deployed more advanced missiles and drones during a recent 40-day conflict involving Iran, highlighting continued progress in its military capabilities despite ongoing regional tensions.

Iranian Army spokesperson Mohammad Akrami Nia said new military equipment entered active service during the fighting after completing research and development phases. He stated that Iran used newly developed drones during the conflict and was able to deploy them in real time on the battlefield.

He also said Iranian forces operated upgraded missiles, describing them as more advanced than previous systems used by the country’s armed forces.

Another military spokesperson, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, said Iran emerged from the conflict stronger both militarily and in defensive capability. He rejected claims of strategic setbacks and argued that Iranian forces had inflicted greater losses on opposing forces.

Shekarchi added that the war demonstrated Iran’s ability to continue weapons development during active conflict, as regional tensions persist following clashes involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.
