Gaza Security Forces Say They Foiled Drug Smuggling Attempt Linked to Israel-Affiliated Networks

Security agencies in the Gaza Strip say they have foiled a major attempt to smuggle drugs into the territory through networks they claim are linked to groups collaborating with Israel.

In a statement reported by Quds Press, the security forces said the operation was carried out in coordination with the Radaa force, which is affiliated with Resistance Security structures in Gaza.

Authorities said a large quantity of drugs was seized during the operation and that several suspects were detained pending legal proceedings.

They alleged the smuggling attempt formed part of wider efforts to destabilise Gaza’s internal security by using local collaborators and criminal networks.

The statement added that security services will continue operations against anyone accused of undermining public safety or acting on behalf of hostile interests, stressing that protecting internal security remains a priority.
