Five Palestinians, Including Three Police Officers, Killed in Israeli Strikes Across Gaza
Five Palestinians, including three police officers, were killed in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday, as reports of ceasefire violations continued.
According to medical sources, three people were killed and two others injured after an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle near the entrance of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. Gaza's Interior Ministry later confirmed the three victims were members of the police force.
In northern Gaza, 35-year-old Oday Younis was killed in a drone strike near Beit Lahia while reportedly collecting firewood close to Israeli military positions.
Another Palestinian, 32-year-old Walid Haniyeh, died from injuries sustained in an Israeli drone strike carried out a day earlier in Gaza City's Al-Nasr neighborhood.
In southern Gaza, a young man was moderately injured after Israeli forces opened fire in western Khan Younis, where witnesses reported heavy machine-gun fire targeting residential areas.
The ceasefire has been in effect since October 2025, but clashes and military incidents have continued. Gaza's Health Ministry says more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 3,300 injured in reported ceasefire violations since the agreement took effect.
