Former Arsenal F.C. kit manager Mark Bonnick is taking legal action against the club for unfair dismissal, saying he was fired over social media posts expressing support for Palestine.

Speaking in an interview with Al Jazeera, Bonnick said he does not regret his comments and believes the dismissal is an infringement on free speech. He argues that his case highlights what he sees as double standards in sport when it comes to political expression, particularly around the Israel–Palestine issue.

Bonnick maintains that his posts were an expression of solidarity and insists that his treatment raises broader questions about how football clubs handle staff speech on social media.
