Remains of 20 Palestinians Recovered From Gaza City Rubble
Gaza Civil Defense teams have recovered the remains of 20 Palestinians from beneath the rubble in the Zeitoun neighbourhood of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The victims were identified as members of the Selmi and Al-Haddad families and were reportedly killed in earlier Israeli bombardments during the war in Gaza.
Civil Defense teams continue search-and-recovery operations across the enclave, working to locate people who remain trapped beneath buildings destroyed during Israeli attacks.
The recovery operation highlights the scale of destruction in Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians are still missing and are believed to remain buried under the rubble.
Search teams face major challenges as they work through destroyed buildings and debris to recover victims and provide families with the remains of their loved ones.
