Tehran Threatens Broad Retaliation Against Future Israeli Attacks

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has warned that any further Israeli military action against Iran or Lebanon will be met with what it described as a “crushing and comprehensive response” from its armed forces.

In a statement, the ministry said Iran’s recent missile strikes were carried out in response to alleged Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. It added that Tehran would act whenever it considers necessary to defend its interests.

The warning comes after reports of missile launches toward northern Israel, marking the first such attacks since the ceasefire reportedly took effect on 8 April, according to Israeli media.
