Israeli Strike on Ambulance in South Lebanon Kills Paramedic
An Israeli air strike targeting an ambulance in southern Lebanon killed a paramedic and wounded two others early Monday, according to local media reports.
The paramedic, identified as Ali Shahrour, was killed when the ambulance was struck in Kfar Rumman in Nabatieh governorate. Emergency teams responded to the site and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital.
The attack comes amid intensified Israeli strikes and shelling in southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire. On Sunday, at least seven people, including two women, were killed and 20 others wounded in Israeli attacks.
