Israel Expands “Yellow Line” Deeper Into Gaza City, Rights Group Claims
The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) says Israeli forces have pushed the so-called “Yellow Line” further into Gaza City, describing it as part of an ongoing expansion of military control over the enclave.
According to the group, Israeli troops shifted the demarcation markers in the Tuffah neighbourhood east of Gaza City, forcing dozens of residents to leave their homes.
PCHR said the move is part of a wider pattern of destroying remaining residential areas and expanding control across Gaza. It added that Israeli forces have repeatedly enforced the boundary with live fire against those accused of crossing it.
The organisation also claimed that the area under Israeli control now covers more than 60 percent of the Gaza Strip.
