Iraqi PMF Condemns Saudi-US Strikes on Headquarters, Says Eight Members Killed
Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) says its headquarters in several parts of the country were targeted in joint Saudi-US airstrikes, resulting in casualties and damage to its facilities.
The PMF said eight of its members were killed in strikes on its positions in Iraq’s northern Nineveh province. The group described the attacks as a highly dangerous escalation and accused Saudi Arabia and the United States of violating Iraq’s sovereignty and targeting the country’s official security institutions.
The PMF added that assessments of the attacks are continuing, with authorities still evaluating the full extent of the damage and confirming casualty figures.
