Iranian Military Official Vows Response to Israeli Attack on Beirut

A senior Iranian military official has warned that Israel's attack on Beirut will face a response, according to Iranian state media.

Mohammad Jafar Assadi, deputy commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, condemned the strike and said that what he described as Israeli actions in Beirut's southern suburbs would not go unanswered.

His remarks add to growing regional tensions following the attack, with Tehran signaling that it views the incident as a serious escalation.
