Iran Says It Targeted US Bases in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait, Warns of Stronger Response

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has expanded its military response to recent US strikes, claiming it targeted American bases in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait.

According to Iranian state media, the IRGC said it struck the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain using drones, and carried out missile attacks on Jordan’s Al-Azraq Air Base as well as Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. The group said the operations were in retaliation for what it called US aggression against sites in southern Iran.

Iranian reports also claimed that four locations at Al-Azraq Air Base were hit, including facilities housing F-35 fighter jets and a command-and-control center. Tehran warned that it would respond more strongly if US attacks continue.

The Revolutionary Guard further said earlier US strikes caused damage in Iran’s coastal city of Sirik, including to infrastructure such as a communications tower and water tanks.
