Iran Halts Retaliatory Operations After Two-Night Pause in US Strikes

Iran has announced that it will halt retaliatory attacks against neighbouring Gulf countries after the United States paused strikes on Iran for two consecutive nights.

Iranian army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminia said Tehran’s actions had been focused on retaliation and that those operations have now been suspended following the pause in US attacks.

The US had carried out daily strikes against Iran after fighting between the two countries resumed two weeks ago. Iran has not launched any reported attacks against US-allied states since the pause began, according to reports.

The development marks a temporary easing of tensions amid the ongoing US-Iran conflict.
