Gaza Death Toll Reaches 73,658 as Israeli Attacks Continue
At least eight Palestinians were killed and 30 wounded in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, according to Palestinian news agency Wafa. Two additional Palestinians died from injuries sustained in earlier attacks.
Among those killed was Ismail Ibrahim Qandil, who was reportedly targeted by an Israeli airstrike while riding a motorcycle northwest of Khan Younis.
Gaza’s Health Ministry says Israeli attacks since October 2023 have killed at least 73,658 Palestinians and wounded 174,622 others.
Israeli forces also continued raids and attacks in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Naval forces reportedly opened fire on fishing boats off Gaza City, injuring two fishermen.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces detained Palestinians during raids in Ramallah, Tulkarm, Nilin and Nablus. Israeli settlers were also accused of attacking a farming shed, damaging electricity poles and assaulting two Palestinians south of Nablus.
In the Jordan Valley, settlers have reportedly begun fencing off land in al-Hadidiya, restricting Palestinian access to agricultural areas.
