Gaza’s Government Media Office says it has recorded 5,147 Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since it took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, and reported that 1,421 Palestinians have been killed during the same period.

The office warned that conditions could worsen as colder and wetter weather approaches, with many displaced families still living in tents or damaged buildings. It said aid and reconstruction deliveries have fallen well short of the agreement’s stated targets.

Aid and movement remain restricted

Of 210,600 trucks expected to carry humanitarian assistance and reconstruction materials into Gaza, 72,826 had entered, the office said. That is about 35 percent of the agreed total. It also said 13,785 people had been able to enter or leave the territory out of 35,000 expected, a rate of about 39 percent.

The figures are attributed to Gaza’s Government Media Office and have not been independently verified here. The office rejected claims that sufficient supplies were entering the enclave.

Damage and shelter needs

A UN satellite assessment found that more than 201,000 buildings, or 82 percent of structures in Gaza, had been damaged. The United Nations estimates that 1.98 million people need shelter assistance in a population of about 2.1 million. Recent assessments also found that 91 percent of households faced moderate to severe water insecurity.

With damaged homes, limited shelter materials and strained basic services, humanitarian agencies face a narrowing window to prepare families for winter. The reported shortfalls in aid deliveries add to the obstacles facing repairs and recovery.
