Bahrain has intercepted more than 300 aerial threats since the start of the ongoing regional conflict, according to officials who detailed the scale of attacks targeting the Gulf nation.

Authorities said the country’s air defense systems have successfully intercepted 125 missiles and 203 drones since hostilities began. The interceptions were carried out by Bahrain’s military forces with support from allied defense systems stationed in the region.

Officials did not provide specific dates or locations for each interception but said the attacks were part of a broader wave of missile and drone launches across the Middle East as tensions escalated. Bahrain hosts key military facilities and strategic infrastructure, making it a potential target during regional confrontations.

Defense officials said air defense units remain on high alert and continue to monitor the airspace closely for additional threats. The announcement highlights the growing role of missile defense systems in protecting countries across the Gulf as conflicts increasingly involve drones and long-range missile attacks.
