Amazon’s hit series The Boys is facing growing boycott calls after renewed attention on Israeli actor Tomer Capone’s past service in the Israeli military, amid ongoing outrage over Israel’s Genocide in Gaza.

The backlash has spread across social media, with pro-Palestinian activists urging viewers to boycott the show, arguing that public figures linked to the Israeli military should be held accountable during a conflict that has caused widespread civilian suffering in Gaza.

Capone, who plays Frenchie in the series, served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as part of Israel’s mandatory conscription system. Critics say compulsory service does not absolve individuals of association with military actions, particularly amid ongoing allegations of abuses in Gaza.

Neither Capone nor Amazon has publicly responded to the calls. The controversy highlights how the Gaza war continues to shape global cultural debates, with increasing pressure on entertainers and companies over perceived ties to the conflict.
