Israeli forces struck four Syria-Lebanon border crossings on Wednesday, alleging Hezbollah exploited them for arms transfers in the Hermel region. The military also hit structures across southern Lebanese villages including Qanarit, Kafour, Ansar, and Khraibeh after issuing evacuation warnings.

Lebanon's Health Ministry reported two deaths from vehicle strikes in Zahrani and Bazuriyeh, plus 19 injuries in Qanarit, where an AFP photographer and two journalists suffered minor wounds from the blast impact. President Joseph Aoun denounced the raids as a "policy of systematic aggression" targeting civilians, breaching international law and the year-old ceasefire.

The Lebanese army called the hits on civilian homes a hindrance to its Hezbollah disarmament efforts south of the Litani River. Israel maintains the strikes neutralize threats, amid over 350 Lebanese deaths from post-truce violations. Hezbollah rejects disarmament calls as aggression persists.
